This was our long travel day, and it went without any major hitches! Rhaine and Kati took us to the airport in Omaha, we got to Chicago just at the right time, had quite a long layover that we used to catch up on work and walk the airport a little bit, and although our flight to Brussels had an hour delay in taking off, we caught up in flight and were there on Wednesday morning around 9:30 am after that annoyingly short night. Just because we might later try to remember this, we caught up on various movies that we had each wanted to watch for a while and never got around to: Mark watched “Dune 2,” which went on FOREVER, and I watched “A Complete Unknown,” the Bob Dylan biopic (and got very confused when I looked from my screen to Mark’s and saw Timothée Chalamet on HIS screen and on mine) and the much more interesting “In the Next Room” with Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore. Sleep would have been better than movie watching, but did not quite happen. I did nap after they had fed us a breakfast sandwich for the last 45 minutes or so of the flight. Mark might have dozed off a couple of times, but that was that.
